Amy Merrill



Amy Merrill is a nonprofit expert and social entrepreneur. She is co-founder of Journey, creating transformative experiences for the millennial generation through impact travel. Amy holds a master’s degree in nonprofit management and nearly a decade helping to build and lead women’s rights and social justice organizations in NYC, from anti-sex tracking to homelessness to artist’s rights. She developed digital marketing campaigns and tools for grassroots activism, partnerships like Estee Lauder and NYC Office of the Mayor, and helped produce galas raising up to $1.8M in a night. After leaving the nonprofit sector she came on as Chief Partnerships Officer for Change Heroes Fundraising, a social enterprise leveraging video technology for good, where she built a pipeline of 500+ potential clients and increased revenues 10x in 6 months. Amy is also a musician and cofounder of, a guerrilla house concert series featuring 100+ artists over 4 years of secret shows on rooftops and in subway trains and living rooms. She is a connector and producer, and seeks areas where causes, arts, and tech collide.
